Terms of Service

1. Not medical advice

PuraGene is a record-keeping and reporting tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and its calculations, charts, summaries and AI responses are informational only. Always confirm dosing and protocol decisions with a licensed clinician. In an emergency, call your local emergency number or 911.

PuraGene is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat or prevent any disease, and it has not been reviewed or cleared by the FDA or any other regulator. The reconstitution and cost calculators perform arithmetic on numbers you enter; they do not recommend a dose. The AI coach is a resource for ideas only — it will not state, suggest or adjust a dose, frequency or duration, and its output is never a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.

1a. AI features and your data

AI features (coach chat, twice-daily reviews, lab report reading, report narratives) send the specific records needed to answer — profile, regimen, metrics, food, notes, lab values and uploaded report text — to a third-party AI provider for processing. They are used only to produce your answer, are not used to train public models, and you can decline AI processing during setup and still use every other feature. Before the coach can be used you must sign a separate acknowledgment that it gives no medical advice and no dosing guidance.

2. Accounts

Accounts are invite-only and personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your password and any authenticator device secure, and for everything done under your account. You must be 18 or older. Do not share an account with another person.

3. Your data is yours

You retain ownership of everything you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display it back to you, and to deliver the reports you choose to send. You can export or permanently delete your data from Privacy & security.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not upload another person's health records without their permission.
• Do not attempt to access other accounts, probe security, or scrape the service.
• Do not use PuraGene to source, sell or promote controlled or illegal substances.
• Do not resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.

5. Availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We work to keep it available and backed up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and you should not rely on it as your only record of a critical medication.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PuraGene is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made from information in the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous twelve months.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Privacy & security; profile, logs, files, reports and AI threads are erased immediately and backups age out within 30 days. Records you keep are retained for as long as your account exists. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or puts other members' data at risk, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
